KOTA BATU — Musyawarah Daerah (Musda) Gerakan Pramuka Jawa Timur tahun 2020 menetapkan Kak Arum Sabil menjadi Ketua Kwartir Daerah (Kwarda) Gerakan Pramuka Jawa Timur masa bakti 2020-2025.
Kak Arum Sabil menjadi satu-satunya calon yang memenuhi persyaratan yang telah ditentukan dalam Anggaran Dasar dan Anggaran Rumah Tangga Gerakan Pramuka termasuk pula Tata Tertib Musda 2020 yang diselenggarakan Rabu (16/12/2020) di Kota Batu.
Dengan terpilihnya Kak Arum Sabil sebagai Ketua Kwarda dalam Musda 2020 menjadi peralihan tongkat estafet dari Kak Saifullah Yusuf selaku Ketua Kwarda masa bakti sebelumnya.
Diketahui sebelumnya bahwa nama-nama yang tersebut dalam persidangan Musda 2020 antara lain ada Kak Emil Elestianto Dardak, Kak A.R. Purmadi, dan Kak Arum Sabil. Namun yang menyatakan kesanggupannya dengan tegas hanyalah Kak Arum Sabil.
Kak Arum Sabil sudah aktif menjadi pramuka sejak belajar di tingkat SMA, salah satu pengalamannya dalam Dewan Kerja adalah menjadi Ketua Saka Taruna Bumi Kwartir Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Jember.
Kiprahnya di Gerakan Pramuka telah mencapai 30 tahun dan telah menerima Anugerah Penghargaan Lencana Panca Warsa V lima tahun lalu.
Selamat kepada Kak Arum Sabil atas amanahnya menjadi Ketua Kwarda Jatim masa bakti 2020-2025, semoga pramuka Jatim semakin lebih baik. (cst)
