JAKARTA — Gerakan Pramuka mengirimkan kontingennya dalam mengikuti kegiatan internasional Jambore Dunia ke-24 (24th World Scout Jamboree) di Virginia Barat, Amerika Serikat.
Keberangkatan kontingen Indonesia yang berjumlah 78 orang ini dilepas langsung oleh Presiden Joko Widodo dalam upacara pelepasan di istana negara, Jumat, 19 Juli 2019.
Kontingen Indonesia ini didampingi oleh 3 Contingen Management Team yang terdiri dari Kak Berthold (Wakil Ketua Kwarnas Kehumasan), Kak Laiyin (Andalan Nasional Bidang Hubungan Luar Negeri), dan Kak Rio Ashadi Andalan Bina Muda bersama 8 pembina.
Sementara itu, ada 67 anggota pramuka Indonesia yang berkesempatan mengikuti kegiatan selama 12 hari bersama 46.000 peserta lain dari 150 negara di Summit Bechtel Reserve, Mount Hope, West Virginia, United States.
Semoga dalam kesempatan ke depan, pramuka-pramuka dari Ngawi juga bisa ikut berkegiatan pramuka di kancah internasional. (cst)
